What our clients say
We have just spent the most relaxing week at this amazing hotel! The hotel is in a fabulous location right on the beach, the rooms are private, well-equipped and comfortable. The service and staff were wonderful and always very friendly and the food is outstanding. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting going from the pool to beach and sipping on delicious cocktails!
Treasure Beach
Treasure Beach is an intimate, long-established west-coast classic in a fantastic location. It sits directly behind Paynes Bay beach, a gorgeous, long arc of soft sand with safe swimming in calm waters, and justifiably one of the most popular beaches on this side of Barbados.
The property is more compact than some of its upmarket west-coast competitors. However, the proximity of the beach – it’s just yards from any of the rooms to the sand – more than compensates. All the bedrooms are in fact suites. Laid out in a horseshoe looking over the garden, swimming pool and the magnificent mahogany tree that shades the beachfront, they are recently refurbished and have a fresh, contemporary look. Each suite has a tastefully furnished living room opening on to a patio or balcony, and a stylish bathroom with separate bath and shower. With eye-catching art and private plunge pools, the three deluxe suites are really special.
Kathy’s, the hotel’s restaurant, offers Caribbean cuisine with international influences on its nightly changing menu, and the option of open-air dining. Moreover, one of the best things about Treasure Beach is that several of Barbados’ top restaurants, including Daphne’s and The Cliff, are in easy walking distance.
Also on property is a spa suite – guests booking a treatment have exclusive use of the facility. While the hotel does not offer its own watersports, most are available on the beach. Paynes Bay is also a prime spot for swimming with turtles: decent swimmers can reach the marked area out in the bay from the shore, and locals offer inexpensive snorkelling excursions on their motor boats.
