Fly to Barbados and spend your first evening at a hotel close to Bridgetown so you can relax and unwind. The following day you may wish to explore Barbados in more detail, whether that’s historical sights, botanical gardens or the lesser known east coast with its dramatic beaches before joining Royal Clipper for your seven-day voyage. This cruise will take in some of our favourite islands including St Lucia stopping off at Rodney Bay, located in the northwest of the island known for its sandy beaches, turquoise waters and vibrant marina, offering the perfect mix of relaxation, water activities and nightlife. Then onto Cabrits, on the north-western tip of Dominica. This breath-taking 525-hectare national park is home to a beautiful tropical forest, vibrant coral reefs and wetlands that are teeming with native wildlife and home to Fort Shirley a restored 18th-century British garrison that offers panoramic views of Prince Rupert Bay. Then onto Falmouth Harbour in Antigua, the epicentre of the Caribbean yachting world. Take in the historic sights of Nelson’s Dockyard and the many inns, pubs and restaurants that surround the dockyard. Then onto St Kitts, where you can wander around colourful Basseterre before heading to the beautiful golden sands of South Friar’s Bay in the afternoon, with calm clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Then onto Les Saintes, a thoroughly entrancing group of islands lying off Guadeloupe, with the many water sports on offer. Your last port of call before heading back to Barbados will be Martinique, renowned for its stunning white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters, offering picturesque spots for both relaxation and waters sports. You will then sail back to Barbados where you can enjoy a further 2 nights at Little Good Harbour before flying back to the UK. Set in a quiet fishing village on the north-west coast of the island, Little Good Harbour is casual yet sophisticated, this little gem is a well-kept secret – apart from its restaurant, the Fishpot, which is widely acclaimed. We can arrange other round-trip departures on Star Clipper cruises from Grenada for winter 2026/27 and also Antigua, with added stays ashore before or after your cruise – please ask for further information.
